Links because I am:

1)spent from an entire weekend of practicing for a gig this week;
2)re-reading "Incest" by Nin and savoring World Markets' 'Pumpkin Spice' coffee with orange
blossom honey and cream (yes, you must);
3)and simultaneously drooling over Robert Plant in his glory days having just bought the new Zep DVD and
cannot be arsed to bother with thinking, as in two entirely different hemispheres are at the moment
competing with each other;
4)thinking if I'm really going to be writing in this thing, I should at least bother to think up a response
to Jess'prosaic entry on her bloody wound, at least to ask her if she'd thought about getting out an
artists brush and incorperating it as a part of an artistic piece;
5)uncertain of whether Jess has any talent or utilizes her creativity in that medium;
6)also noticing that I just misspelled the word 'incorporating' which may be a reflection of what my
priorities currently are;
7)and I can.

An excellent read on a social experminent that will ruin you if I explain it:

Insultingly Stupid Movie Physics, because you really did snicker over the mindbending inanities in 'The Core' and 'Day After Tommorow' (and so did they):

I'll split it with you if you bite:

Now. Begone.

Artistic inclination?
-- None whatsoever outside of those avenues that deal with words, flutes, or voice. And I'm not even that good at any of those. I wish oh I wish I could draw or paint, though. It isn't ironic at all that the most passionate of my romantic relationships have been with two men who could create worlds on paper with just a crayon ... but couldn't write worth a damn. My ex did so many beautiful sketches and paintings of me (and our Dreams at the time); I wish I was able to secure some of them before his blasphemous heathen of a girlfriend (now WIFE) destroyed them.

He doesn't draw or paint much anymore. He says he lost his muse.

I preen.

Next time, I'll supply the "paint" -- you supply the talent.

Re: Artistic inclination?
See, I felt that you felt that even as I was writing it, oracle that I am. I also think its latent somehow. Have you tried your hand at assemblage art at all? Altered books are fun. You get the benefit of words and kinetic distraction. You cannot go wrong with kinetic distractions where palpable surfaces lend themselves to your words.

Sharpies and skin are also fun, I snicker.

I don't know what to make of a girlfriend that destroys someones art though. I mean, I grok the jealous thing and wanting to all be the only, but that kind of love destruction is why I mostly appreciate the company of celestial bodies as opposed to terrestial ones; mostly.
